My Journey to Holistic Health

I’m Bethany Smith, a certified holistic health coach, and like you, I’ve experienced the frustration and overwhelm that can come with trying to “figure out” wellness. For years, I tried to fix isolated symptoms without realizing that true health comes from caring for the whole person. My breakthrough came when I learned the simple yet powerful truth: everything in your life is connected.

Holistic health means looking at the full picture—not just your physical health, but your mental, emotional, spiritual, and social well-being too. It’s about understanding that every part of your life touches and influences every other part. True healing happens when we nourish all aspects of life.


An incomplete flower struggles to bloom.

A missing petal leaves you feeling broken, un-whole, disconnected from your vibrant design.

But nature teaches us this truth:

You can regrow your bloom.

You are not broken. You are becoming your true self.


The Institute for Integrative Nutrition introduced me to the concept of the Circle of Life: twelve essential areas that influence our overall wellness. Over time, I’ve adapted and expanded these ideas through my own journey of applying them in real life. What I’ve learned is simple yet profound: nurturing even one of these areas can create powerful ripple effects across your entire well-being. Here, I’ll use this space to share the lessons, tools, and insights that have helped me—and can help you—tend to every petal of your personal flower, so you can restore your bloom to its fullest, most radiant design
